Our story began in 2002 in Surat City, the global capital of diamond manufacturing, where our founder, Paras Mehta, started working directly with rough diamonds. For over a decade, we mastered the complex, technical art of analyzing, cutting, and sorting raw stones.
In 2018, the legacy evolved when his son, Yash Mehta, stepped into the business, introducing cutting-edge techniques to perfect the diamond polishing process. Having mastered the journey from rough stone to polished brilliant, we took the ultimate step forward in 2023 by launching our own fine jewelry line.
Named in honor of Paras's wife and Yash's mother — Shital — Shital Gems is the culmination of a two-generation family journey. Today, we are taking this rich heritage forward globally, operating from India to bring world-class craftsmanship directly to you.
